Using triangulation a four by four meter trench was established with the northwest corner at a location of 58E/49S.

The coordinates of the four corners of CB 52 at thestart of the 2012 season are as follows:

NW corner: 58E/49S

NE corner: 62E/49S

SE corner: 62E/53S

SW corner: 58E/53S

A datum point with an absolute elevation of 27.24 meters was established on a tree along the north wall of CB 52.
