E34-36 and D34-35 were excavated from topsoil to yellow layer to a depth of ca.80cm. The bedrock which marked teh laowets level of f34-36 slanted downward in Grid E and as not apparennt at this depth, consequently the burn layer, normally found directly above the bedrock in this area, was not encountered in E34-36 or D34-35. The soil was particularly barren in these grids 2 boxes of tile gramgnets and 1 carton of pottery. One large vessel was recovered in teh yellow layer of E36, upsided down with teh base and lower side walls totally intact, A rim fragment of the bowl p.83no.3 and p.101 no.2 was recovered in E34, gray/yellow.

The wall running north through G-m 36 terminated midway through F36 and failed to reach E36. From grid E36 alone, it appears that the wall turns east and will run through E37.

Thus there is no wall in f32-36, however, Grid Fconveniently shows a bedrock floor immediately before it slopes downward in Grid E, consequently it would seem taht the bedrock in F32-36 took the placed of stone foundations. Now that the northern limit has been defined , some observations on the west can also be made. The series of stones running N-S in K-L 31 may be part of the west termination-its counterpart at the NW corner may be the bedrock in F-G-H, took the place of stone foundations. Now that the northern limit has been

defined, some observations on the west can also be made. The series of stones running N-S in K-L31 may be part of a the west termination-its counterpart at the NW corner may be teh bedrock in F-G-H-, finally the empty area in I-J31 shows only a small, circular group of stones in I/J31, which suggests a column base.
