A small amount of pottery was recovered in CB51 during the 2011 season; in total there were 18 fragments. Locus 1 contained the full amount of the pottery, Locus 2 and 3 producing none. Impasto was the most found type, at 15 sherds. Fine impasto was second with 5 pieces, coarseware third with 1 piece. Out of the 18 total sherds, 2 were diagnostic pieces- one impasto rim and one fine impasto rim. No bucchero or medieval pottery was found. None of the pieces of pottery were cataloged.

One rochetto fragment was found ( 20110059

20110059
), which, though prevalent on the Piano del Tesoro, is only one of nine found in the Civitate B area (at the time of writing this summary).

Representative Diagnostic Drawings:

Locus 1: Impasto Rim

Locus 1: Fine Impasto Rim
