In the afternoon the lower building wall as well as the foundation walls in R-10 and R-12 defining R-11 were cleaned down with the martula.  A double course of foundation stone running E to W from the lowe building wall was exposed in the northern wall of R-12.  The lower course of stones appears to be the cross wall of the Lower Building upon which the foundation of the Upper building was later built.  What appearse to be a post hole from inside the lower building was exposed on the
