One sample of carbon was taken in T108 in the 2024 season. During excavation in Locus 4, a pithos fragment was discovered in association with carbonized material. This material was collected as a sample in order to determine if it might have been the contents of the pithos and in turn what those contents are. Awaiting further analysis by an archaeobotanical expert.
Additionally, amber was recovered in T108, also in the excavation of Locus 4. This fragment was broken during excavation, but when restored in the magazzino appears to be an amber bead (PC 20240043).
