Bone Summary
In Loci 1, 3, 5, 7, and 19, there were 35 pieces of bone uncovered. None showed signs of being cut or worked. These pieces all came from topsoil.
In Loci 4, 6, 8, and 12, 24 pieces of bone were uncovered. Again, none showed signs of being cut or worked. These all came from the second soil type beneath the topsoil, the light olive brown soil.
In Loci 15 and 16 (Locus 15 directly above the well at the interface and Locus 16 inside the well), there was a total of 29 pieces of bone. None were cut or worked.
In Locus 20, the anomaly, there were 12 pieces of bone found, but none were cut or worked. 2 pieces came from baulk trimming. A total of 102 pieces of bone were found in CA42.
