Conclusion

Conclusion:

CB 50 sought to uncover a clearer picture of what was happening in Civitate B, in relation to CB 38 and CB 43 specifically. Given the fairly short time allotted for excavation, and the set-back of rain, it was not extremely clear at the end of the season. CB 50 displayed a small amount of the extent of a rock packing present in CB 38 and CB 42. We were able to discover a little more about the stratigraphy and topography of the area, however further excavations remain necessary for a more complete understanding of Civitate B specifically and Poggio Civitate in its entirety.
