Tile 1/10

Pottery 1/3

The tile continued to be exposed and cleaned down in meters II-10; FF-9,10,11; GG-9,10,11.  Carbonized wood was uncovered in FF and GG while II-10 yielded an abundance of the carbonized wood.  Plaster was encountered in II-10, and this metere also produced the majority of the pottery found.  Overall, this cut directly above

the burn layer and appears to be rich in tile and little else.

Tile 1/10

Pottery 1/10

The task of cleaning down the tile in meters II-10, GG-9,10 continued.  GG-9 produced carbonized wood, as did II-10.  The "tile fall" appears to be two layers thick in GG-9 as a tile layer was uncovered ~30cm deep and another adjacent to it ~40cm deep.  II-10 continues to be a source of bronze fragments.
