Work continued in T-17. Digging in H-18 reached a different stratum marked by hard-packed orange-brown earth - directly above was layer of gray earth with pieces of carbon. Above this lay dark brown earth-stone fill ( see diagram on p. 192 ). The orange/brown stratum lay at depth 1.05-1.30 m below surface. Directly above this lay carbon stratum, 6-10 cm thick.

Digging was suspended in this stratum and the area immediately to the south was cleared to the level of the stones.
