Work continued on CA 28 - from 15-25 cm. mostly small fragments of tiles and some stone.  At depth  c. 45 cm in the area of EE2 larger fragments of tiles began to appear.  At the same depth in EE3 small fragments of bucchero began to appear together with the stem of a cup and boar's tooth.

North end of the trench hit "galestra" c. 60 cm down while the south end contined to produce tile fragments to depth c. 90 cm

CA 28 was extended to the east by a rectangular strip 3.0 m e-w x 5.0 m n-s.  Top soil removed to depth c. 10 cm
