4 boxes of pottery

1 box of tile

A cut was made in N35-36 to slightly below the level of the E-W wal, at a depth of ca.100cm.  At ca,70cm., a grayish-yellow soil preceeds a reddish soil containing many tile and coasrs ware fragments.  At the level of the wall, the burn layer varies in depth.  Burn is following by a yellow clay.  although coarsewre still predominates there is a great increase in finer wares adn especially bucchero. A number of bucchero sottiles kantharos fragments were found.  some bronze slag near the wall.
