5C Soil was removed down to irregular outcroppings of stone similar to those from the agger found in 5A. No evidence appeared for the continuation of the western wall but tile was heavy - about 10 boxes - and at the southern end of the trench a small fragment of raking sima - the first for Tesoro - was found.

1AB +1AE Continued cleaning of the trench, mainly east of the northgoing wall where some tile fragments, 6 boxes, and pottery, 1 box, was found. The tile mentioned p. 141 was lifted.
