Cut 4 into D30-32 was completed again showing the same yellow soil containing numerous tile fragments (1 box).
Cut 5 was begun in E-G 30-32, taking the depth of the trench to 100cm. The soil continued to be yuellow with white particles, although at its lowest level it began shading towards gray. Within this level, 14 cavetto fragments from a lateral sima in G32, a cavetto fragment from F31-32 perhaps fro, the same lateral sima, one large fragment and several smaler pieces from a corner lateral sima in E-F 31-32, and possible statue fragment in E30. Pottery fragments became more numerous, particularly bucchero, but tile was still overwhelmingly predominant (3 boxes). Cut 2 completed in N-O-P 30-32.
