Excavation was carried out in locus 2 from 46.3-S south to 47.5-S.  Locus 2, from inspection of the western scarp, appears to slope down at approximately a 45\xb0 angle from about 46.2-S.  Locus 2 was lowered approximately 5 cm.  One and a half bowls (30 cm. in diameter, 10 cm. in depth) of terracotta fragments were recovered.  Thirtythree sherds of pottery were found (11 bucchero/buccheroid, 2 bucchero/buccheroid rims, 16 impasto, 3 impasto rims, 1 orange ware).  Approximately a dozen fragments of bone and teeth were found.

Locus 4 was closed out at 99 cm. below datum point.
