Excavation of the area B-H, 15-16 continued.  The concentration of architectual terracottas continued.

Seven boxes of tiles were dumped before excavation of this area was completed.

The plan and profile of the show the principle characteristics of the area under excavation.  The plaster "pavement" continued as did  both of the parallel lines of bedrock bordering the "ditch".  The mass of rock shown on the plan in the area G15 and G16 seems to have become detached from the larger mass of rock to the west and the space between filled in before the filling in of the rest of the ditch since the earth in

between contianed no architectural terracottas, but the deposit continued above this earth.

An extension of the trench two metres northwards was laid out.  This included the area in grid squares B-H, 17-18.  Found during the day was one fragment of horserace frieze at F17.
