Work continued on CA 28 sectors NN1-5 - KK 1-5 were cleared down to bedrock and "galestra" sectors JJ1-5-GG1-5 rock fill consisting of large stones was encountered at depth c. 80 (see diagram)

The areas NN1-5 - LL1-5 were cleared to bedrock and "galestra", while GG1-5 was cleared down to the stone layer (see diagram p. 14)
Work began in removing the stone layer - tiles immediately began to appear.

Next to this was fragment of terracotta, perhaps statue (funnel, hole doesnt go through) Larger fragments of tiles began to appear mixed in among stones.

Heavy concentration of tiles and terracotta fragments seemed to hae come from the area GG 5-3, mixed in among stones.
