The third layer was taken off from the area of the walls. 3 boxes of tiles were dumped. About 190 m from the E edge of the trench there appeared a cross wall which connects the N and S E-going walls. W. 1.10 m.
Two pieces of cornice were found; one fragment of a cat's head (?) with one ear preserved . One piece of bucchero with a pattern in relief. Two strawberry cartons of sherds.

Remainder of dirt from dump removed and excavation begun on a 5 metre strip (28-32) along the western edge of the new extension.
