We finished levelling the floor in meters 50S 165E and 51S 165E and we trimmed the baulk walls in that area. A 7 cm cut was then made in meters 50S 166E and 51S 166E. The area was levelled until lunch time. At the moment the plan is to brind locus 8 down to the same depth as locus 9 in meters 50S 167E and 51S 167E.

Finished levelling the floor in meters 50S 166E and 51S 166E. Took another pick pass in meters 50S 165E and 51S 165E. After clearing that area the entire floor of locus 8 was levelled.
Finds:
Baulk wall: 3 frags terracotta; 2 frags pottery
locus 8: 1/2 latte pottery and bone; 1/8 cassetta terracotta and plaster
