STRATEGY: 1. Remove 1302 to expose all the plaster of f87. 2. Photograph wall f66 & f87. 3. Remove f86 & clarify its relationship with surface f89.

SUMMARY: 1. Photographs taken of wall f66 7 f87. 2. F86 was removed. Make-up of f86 = called lot no 1303. F86 proved to be an amorphous concentration of plaster (sample taken). It did not rest directly on surface f89 ( a 2cm layer of soil lay between them). I concluded that f86 is merely a plaster 'blob' in the general fill. 3. 1302 was removed to leave all the plaster exposed except for some concentrations of hard, orange pise 'blobs' lying directly on the plaster surface.
