Continued the cut in meters N 1-2, W 3-4 and extended northward into the western portion of meters N 3-6, W 4. Soil remained consistent with that previously designated Locus 2. In addition to the two large stumps noted yesterday there are large outcroppings of bedrock in this area. 18-20 pieces of worn terracotta and 2 fragments of ceramic were recovered in this work.

Baulks were trimmed in meters N 1-6, W 5-8. 15 pieces of worn terra-cotta, 11 fragments of ceramic and 10 fragments of bone were recovered.
