Workmen began to clear the brush and shrubs in the area where T26-1982 was to be mapped out. They continued to clean the entire area along the southern wall of the upper building of brush and shrubs.
T26-1982 was mapped out to incorporate 15 square meters (P-T, 77, 78, 79). The trench was pegged out with picchetti and work began in removing the topsoil. A very small amount of tile and pottery was found.
A Tile dump was established in the center of filled in site of T23-1978 while soil is being deposited into T26-1981 (See MT V, pg. 8)
