Work began today by scraping the trench of loose dirt and leaves. Some of the trench was leveled to discern whether or not the rock formations continued in a longer linear formation. It seems as though the linear rock formations on the eastern wall of CA 74, in the middle of CA 71, and the eastern wall of CA 71 all continue into this trench, CA 70. Work has been temporarily discontinued to await further instruction from the excavation director.
