July 13, 1998
Began the morning by leveling out locus 13 (E 149-50 S 56-57) as well as baulking east, west, and noth walls. Took final cut at of the day in E 149-50 S 57. Still finding pieces of bronze slag. Soil is at the burn layer and contains carbon, plaster, and terracotta fragments.
No work in the afternoon.
