The following finds were made in the west end of the original trench:

Five boxes of tile were dumped in the course of the day.
CA 25
A trench parallel to CA 25 was laid out betweenCA 25 and CA 1, running 80 centimeters north-south and 2.50 meters east-west.
CA 18
The original dimensions of this trench were 1.50 meters by 80 cm. Work was continued, and the trench was extended to the east of its original location. The final dimensions were 3.75 meters east-west and 90 centimeters north-south. Before striking galestra 2 boxes of tiles andone of pottery were found, as well as bones and at least one peice of wall plaster. Depth of deposit was 50 centimeters at the west and 80 centimeters at the east end.

Work continued.
2 boxes of tiles, 1 box of vase fragments, and 1 box of plaster came out.
