Due to rain overnight, limited excavation possible in T 62. Continued removing soil beneath the tree stump in order to hopefully remove more of its roots and maybe the stump itself. During removal of the soil beneath the stump, one fragment of terra cotta 3cm in length removed. After several more roots were severed, the remaining portion of the stump removed. Area beneath where the stump was is drier than the rest of the trench, so hand pick used to level the area to that of the rest of Locus 3 . Soil remains consistent with Locus 3 ; so far one fragment of ceramic, broken during excavation, recovered. During leveling, a bone inlay found.
