Excavation was carried out in locus 2 from approximately 46.5-S south to 47.5-S sloping south down to about 130 cm. below datum point. Three and one-half bowls (30 cm. in diameter, 10 cm. in depth) of terracotta fragments were recovered. About a latte box of pottery sherds and bone fragments was found. The starting depth when digging started was about 115 cm. below datum. A rocchetto fragment was found (Special Find #1). A fragment of terracotta which may be part of a sphinx wing was found (Special Find #2). A pottery sherd having a knob on the rim was found with red slip preserved (Special Find # 3).
