The topsoil cut across meters 86-92 was extended into g. Immediately in G/92 at a level of about 20cm a piece of bucchero decorated with hatched lines was discovered. Several other pieces of bucchero came from thei meter. Here the soil was very hard and stony particularly in the east where it had been compressed by the bulldozing in 1986. Work moved in G/86-87 and G/92. Approximately one cassetta of tile and one of plaster was found. The soil in G/86-87 was very dark in color and rooty with a number of stones in it. Less ceramic came from here than from the same cut in 92:about one latte box in all including some bone. In G/92 much of the bone and pottery was burned but the soil sis not show evidence of burning.
