This morning work began with finishing the cleaning of the baulk wall with methodology remaining the same as yesterday. One the walls were deemed uniformly straight defining of the different stratum layers began. These different loci will be defined through the use of brightly colored string attached to scarp nails. Each loci will then be given a munsel designation and the entirety of the defined stratum will be photographed and drawn. Just before lunch the munsel designations were given. Before recoding each munsel, comparisons were made with the other trench supervisors to check if there was uniformity throughout each bulk.

The munsel designations are as follows:

Locus 1: 2.5Y 4/3 Olive Brown

Locus 2: 2.5Y 6/3 Light Yellowish Brown

Locus 3: 5Y 6/3 Pale Olive

Locus 4: 5Y 6/6 Olive Yellow

Locus 5: 2.5Y 3/1 Very Dark Grey
