Excavation was delayed in T26 due to overnight rain.  Excavation continued in Locus 1 around 10:30 AM but the remainder of the trench was too wet for excavation.

A pickpass of the southern extension of Locus 1 was completed to continue removing the sun baked soil, now softened from the overnight rain.  The pick revealed large plaster fragments and vitrified materials such as a fragment of plaster with a reed impression and two beam impressions (Special Find #15), vitrified terracotta (Special Find #16), and a large fragment of plaster with multiple reed impressions.

An additional pickpass of the southern extent of Locus 1 was completed.  Vitrified material continues to be found and will be recorded as bulk finds unless the shape or dimensions are significant.  The pickpass was sorted by hand into buckets.  A burnt bone was found among the vitrified material (Special Find #22).
