Because the stones did not seem to be part of a wall, those in the west end were lifted to see if area was a stone-sealed "dump," and the trench in that area was taken down 0.65m to galestra or bedrock.  Found: one box of sherds; some animals bones; worn

impasto spindle whorl (B15C - 0.50m depth); two lumps of bronze (B15B); feline water spout from a lateral sima (B15A - among stones, 0.50m depth, in north wall of trench, 5.20m from east end - Find # 2); half of an impasto rocchetto (15B); three-quarter preserved impasto bowl (Find # 4) (B15A); and 3 rounded worked stones.
