CA24

Excavation of the extension of CA24 (B-H, 9-12) continued.  Work was carried out on a first two metre cut (B-H, 9-10) for the sake of further defining the area of brown earth mixed with large to medium sized stones which had proved to be the most productive area for tiles, pottery and terracottas and also for the sake of defining the profile of the yellow earth which underlay this deposit (cf. profile page 58).
