Work began using mini-picks ro define any features. Tile and pottery in small quantities is being recovered.

As we are coming down on a layer of rocks similar to those found in CA 72 and 73 it was decided to declare a new locus. The trench was cleaned and trimmed in preparation for this. A stump on the south boundary was removed. Photos were taken and closing Locus 2 elevations were recorded.

Work began excavating Locus 3 . Locus 3's soil is a light-medium brown. There are small roots and stones in this locus. Tile and pottery are not as worn, in contrast to previous loci.
Excavation concentrated in the north meter of the trench.
