duced no finds.  The edges were shaved and a profile drawn of the N edge, from West to East.  The short sides show the same stratification as the two long sides and it can not at the present be established if the foundations of the walls go down the way they do in R 13- see trench photographs.

A round bronze button was found + 10-15 sherds.

A new cut was started- to the North covering grids C + half of D, width 1.50 m, length 6 m +. Right at 3 m the level of the "pavement"-"floor level" rises considerably and this part is covered by a pinkish layer- burnt?

Str. A- grey dry dirt with smalls tones- was excavated.  It produced less than 1 box of tiles.  Str. AB was more apparent in this cut than in the previous one, that is, a grey or greyish brown soil with a few stones mixed in.  The cut produced 2 boxes of tiles and a few sherds (less than one strawberry carton).  Work was interrupted by rain.
