Excavation continued in locus 6 . The entire trench was lowered approximately 5 cm. and the stones appearing in the western sector of the trench were defined. Approximately 2 1/2 latte bowls (24 cm. in diameter, 7 cm. in depth) of terracotta fragments and plaster were recovered. Approximately 1 1/2 latte boxes of pottery sherds were found along with a coarse ware rim. Approximately a 1/4 latte box of bone fragments were found. Two pieces of bulk bronze were found and several pieces of what appears to be charcoal. The areas east, south and west of the trench were cleared of loose soil and debris. Approximately 20 small well-worn fragments of terracotta were recovered in this operation. Four special finds were made (#1: Rocchetto fragment; #2: Forno fragment; #3: Rocchetto fragment; #4: Pottery sherd with brown slip).
