An extension was made in the northwestern corner of CA87 that aligns along the southernmost 2m of the eastern baulk wall of CA89. As a result of the trenches reaching similar elevations and soil types, the baulk wall separating the two trenches was knocked down. The trenchline has been kept up to maintain division between the extension of CA87 and CA89.

A pick pass was made along the northern most meter of the trench along the baulk wall.

Locus 2

Locus 2 is a dry clay-like soil. It has a slightly more yellowish hue to the soil. There are fewer organic inclusions.
