STRATEGY: 1. Excavate 1533: artefact concentration. 2. Excavate 1531 and 1532: hearth fill and hearth structure. 3. Continue excavation of 1528 to define tholos wall f612 and see if possible wall f613 continues north.

SUMMARY: 1. Excavated 1533. Contained pot, bone and flint. 2. Excavated 1531 and 1532. 1531 was taken as a 1 x 20L whole earth sample for flotation. 1532 contained pot, bone and flint. 3. Completed yesterdays first spit of 1528 and when we finished we began another spit in the western half of the square. Contained pot, bone, flint and a stone bowl fragment. Tholos wall f612 continues SW. f613 does not appear to continue north. The botto of the pise wall f604 was possibly reached. This wall is to be removed on Saturday, along with f613, which doesn't appear to be more than one course of stones.
