T-23 Summary: Meters D-C/10 were taken to 90 cm. The 90 cm cut was extended SW in BB/11-12.

Meters D-C/10 were completely taken to 90 cm. The stone packing in D-C/11-12 at 90 cm continued to D-C/10. The soil here exhibited the same stratigraphy as D/11-12 - orange-light burn layer with carbon at 60-80 cm and a dark gray burn layer with carbon at 80-90 cm.
Meters BB/11-12 were taken to 90 cm and the cut continued SW into CC/11-12. A tree in BB/11-12 was removed as well as a stump in CC/11. A very large rock was present at 60-90 cm in BB/11 and was removed. The soil of this cut in this area remains light yellow-gray. There is evidence of a dark gray burn layer at 80-90 cm. At 90 cm, there appears to be yellow clay.
Note that in D-C/10, there was an abundance of tile throughout the cut. Also bits of bronze slag with copper slag on them were found. Most of today's pottery (6 boxes) came from this area.
The entire trench was taken to 90 cm except for the area of the large stone in BB-CC/11.
