Daily Log

June 10, 1977

Work continues on grid J-N/40-41, among the dark brown II stratum and the tile fall (red earth and yellow earth strata) which lies over it.  Occasional pieces of pottery, both courseware and bucchero, are in evidence.  The stones in grid J-N/40 continue in grid 41.  They look more and more like stone pack or fill - both because of their distribution and because there are sherds and earth underneath many of the stones.
