Description: Locus 1 was the topsoil of the trench, specifically a humus layer. The soil was dark brown, filled with organic material, many roots in particular two bigger roots of trees, and stones. In the topsoil, nearly four bowls were found of terracotta consisting of 592 pieces, 24 pieces of pottery and three special finds. The special finds were a ridge pole fragment, iron tack and iron fragment.

Description: The soil in Locus 2 is a light grey in comparison to the previous locus. It is filled with a dry soil that is loose. This locus contains little organic material (roots). Locus 2 appears to be consisting of a large quantity of stones, 5 cm or smaller. It was in Locus 2 that a continuation of bedrock that encompassed the trench was discovered. 6 pieces of pottery and 67 pieces of terracotta was discovered in Locus 2. Special finds were a bronze disc that was later interpreted to be a Medieval coin, probably from Perugia and a Medieval pottery fragment.

Description: Locus 3 is the equivalent to Locus 1; the topsoil layer of the original part of the trench in the extension of the trench. As there was no excavation done of Locus 3, the texture and organic material content was not recorded. 1 bowl of terracotta (69 pieces) and 1 piece of pottery was discovered.
