Agger 1
The mud wall over the foundation wall was shaved down (see architect's profile) and most of the trench was taken down to just above the stone pavement. Over this pavement was a yellow clay covering which was burned red in the southern part of the trench. Two boxes of tiles.
Agger 2
The stones were lifted throughout the trench, except for section A which was taken down to just about the tiles in Section D the two stone outcrops from the agger were liefted to expose the foundation wall beneath. Found: 2 boxes

of tiles; small pieces of a painted vase, Italo-Corinthian - Section A; and a few small bits of bronze - Section D.
