P.M.

Excavation continued in locus 7.  Digging was done throughout the whole trench except for a small area in the SE corner.  The area excavated was lowered approximately 3 cm. today.  Today, approximately 5 1/2 bowls of terracotta fragments were recovered along with a little plaster.  Approximately 13 latte boxes of pottery sherds found along with approximately 9 latte boxes of bone and teeth fragments.  Two pieces of slag and 1 piece of bronze were found and made bulk finds.  A separate collection of coarse ware sherds was made and left at the site (114 body, 11 rim, 8 base, 1 handle sherd).  A stone (approx. 25 x 20 x 12 cm.) was removed from the trench located at 190.3-E/50.1-S.  Three special finds were made this afternoon.
