The wheelbarrow ramp was removed in B-E/52 and the area cleaned down to bedrock. The large stones noted on Monday in E/53 are pakced against the bedrock with a heavy concentration of carbon immediately to the south. The final project of the morning extended the cut along the east flank of the trench in A/54 up to the wall of the upper building and down to the level of bedrock.
