Daily Log

June 19, 1975

Work continued on the first cut, grids J-O/26-27, excavating the dark brown stratum.

In grids M-N/26-27, a number of large stones were found - most were left in situ.  These stones, possibly some sort of capping for the agger, or perhaps some sort of terracing, correspond to a line of stones at the same level in T19 (grids M-N/31-35) which are still in evidence.

Again, as on the day before, tile and pottery (bucchero and coarseware) were in evidence.

1 box of tiles dumped.
