Trench Layout

Trench Layout

T-68 is a 2x2 meter trench. The trench was laid out by triangulation off of the N/S baseline that was originally used to layout T-67 ( NKDI ). This baseline was shot by the site surveyor, Andrew Carroll.

NW 188E, 54.10S

NE 190E, 54.10S

SE 190E, 56S

SW 188E, 56S

The trench is 10cm short on the north side due to a baulk walling during the 2009 and other field seasons. The trench is located just to the North of the Orientalizing workshop complex.

The trench itself was only strung on the East and South sides due to the fact that we are taking the trench down to ground level with previously excavated trenches.
