Excavation began late because of morning rain. Methodology will stay the same as before, dirt will be picked with a pick axe, picked up with a shovel then hand sorted in a wheelbarrow which is then dumped in the designated area. While sorting, a sculpture fragment (Special Find #1) was found.

Coordinates: 109.39 E/47.09 S

Once the dirt was cleared and sorted, a second pick was done through the middle 3 meter by 1 meter extent of the trench. While sorting, a piece of vitrified terracotta (Special Find #2) was found.

Shortly after, a sherd of incised pottery (Special Find #3) was found.

Once the dirt was cleared, another pick was done through the southern extent of the trench. While clearing, a piece of decorated pottery (Special Find #4) was found.

After lunch, a pick was completed in the northern section of the trench measuring 3 meters by 1 meter. The dirt continues to be full of roots and rocks as well as pottery, large architectural terracotta as well as plaster. Once the dirt was cleared, another pick was completed through the middle 3 meter by 1 meter extent of the trench. While clearing, a terracotta sculptural fragment (Special Find #5) was found.

Shortly after, a sherd of ridged pottery (Special Find #6) was found.

Shortly after, an uncommon piece of architectural terracotta was found (Special Find #7).

Once the dirt was cleared and sorted, another 3 meter by 1 meter pick was done along the southern wall of the trench. While clearing dirt, a sherd of Medieval pottery (Special Find #8) was found.

Shortly after, a second sherd of Medieval pottery was found (Special Find #9) was found.
