To begin a pick pass was run through the southern portion of the trench and subsequently through the northern half. Sorting of the dirt was begun simultaneously in both halves and while sorting in the southern portion; special find #1 was unearthed.

After taking points on SF#1, the remainder of the dirt from the previous pick pass was sorted and roots were clipped. This took us through to lunch.

A pick pass was run through the southern portion of the trench as it had been noted that, although, equal attention had been paid to both halves, the
Southern portion was still slightly higher than the north. The sorting of the dirt revealed an influx in pottery and progress slowed as a result of the increased attention to smaller artifacts. All dirt was cleared and totals were taken.
