Began the day by taking 1st cut into 2nd half of E 49-50 S 56. In the NE corner fo E 150 S 56 soi is of a gallestra-like color and texture. This area will be designated as locus 16. dpeth 95 cm bd.

Tool 2nd cut into E 149-50 S59-58. Lots of bone in that meter as well as iron slag and pottery. Large pieces of pithoid excavated from this area also. Took 2nd cut  into E 149-50 S 57-56. Soil in this area is lighter in color and more clayish, therefore it will be designated as locus 17. Soil is lighter grayish brown, has less plaster and carbon flecks. It was munselled at 2.5 Y 3/3.

Closing depth for locus 15 are. SE 101 cm bd, SW 101 cm bd, NW 98 cm bd, NE 100 cm bd, MID 102 cm bd.

opening depth for locus 17 are: SE 100 cm bd, SW 87 cm bd, NW 98 cm bd,  NE 100 cm bd, MID 98 cm bd.

closing depth locus 17: SE 100 cm bd, SW 98 cm bd, NW 98 cm bd, NE 100 cm bd, MID 100 cm bd.
