Work concentrated today on leveling locus 4 and tracing the extent of darker (olive brown) soil to the west of the rock formation.

Locus 4 ws leveled down to approximately 40 cm b.d.at which point two distinct soil types became recognizable. The southern part of locus 4, immediately west of the stone formation, was comprised of olive brown [ 2.5 Y, 4/3] soil. The rest of excavated locus 4 constituted pale olive [5 Y, 5/3] soil.

The stone formation was designated locus 8, incorporating locus 1 and part of locus 4. Pale olive soil in locus 4 was designated as locus 9. It contains a lot of stones and calcium inclusions and is sterile.

Olive brown soil to the west of the rock formation was designated as coninuation of locus 4. It contained numerous carbon inclusions and disintegrated terracotta, and provided all of the archaeological material found today. 39 animal bone fragments (including part of a jaw with teeth, 4 teeth, falanges, and large pieces of probably a femur), 13 pieces
