Pottery from T-27 1988 was divided into six types: bucchero, buccheroid, fine greyware, fine orangeware, impasto and coarseware as per MT. IV p. 35 .  Almost all pottery found in this area was saved.  No pithos fragments were found.  The pottery was principally composed of worn fragments of impasto, coarseware and orangeware.  With very little fine ware recovered (50% impasto, 30% orangeware, 15% coarseware, 5% other fabrics).  The pottery was recovered sporadically throughout the trench, except for an unusually heavy concentration in meters E/68-70 beginning at a depth of 70cm.  Very little pottery was recovered from among the rock pack in F-H/68-70.  None of the pottery showed evidence of burning.  Much of the pottery was weathered and fragmented through travel and erosion as commonly encountered in a slope area.
