Final Summaries

The goal for T25 ext. during the 1998 season was to establish and document the existence of a continuous stratigraphic sequence between T21, T25 and T25 extension.  and how these trenches relate to the chronology and stratigraphy of the SE building (workshop), southern defense wall, the upper building and those structures lying beneath the upper building.  T25 ext. was take down ~150cm.  Upon completion of the west wall baulk (5m in length) and after drawings were made by our illustrator Craig Copeland, it became apparent that the

stratigraphy of T21, T25, and T25 ext. follow a sequential pattern which effectively links the upper building to the southern defense wall chronologically and stratigraphically.

(No architectural features emerged in T25 ext. during this season's excavation.)
